Anfisa Letyago
Anfisa Letyago
Anfisa Letyago has emerged as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary electronic music. Shaped by the vibrant energy of Naples’ club culture, she has developed a unique artistic language that transcends genres, blending hypnotic grooves, emotional depth, and refined sound design into a deeply immersive experience. More than a DJ and producer, Anfisa is an electronic storyteller. Her music explores the space where memory, emotion, and movement converge, creating sonic landscapes that are both powerful and intimate. Drawing inspiration from the sea, human connection, and the transformative nature of dance music, she crafts sets and productions that resonate far beyond the dancefloor. Her discography spans some of the most respected labels in electronic music, including Kompakt, Deutsche Grammophon, Intec Digital, Nervous Records, Rekids, and Hotflush. Across these releases, Anfisa has consistently demonstrated a rare ability to balance underground credibility with a forward-thinking artistic vision. In 2021, she founded NSDA, a label created as an extension of her creative identity and a platform for music driven by individuality rather than trends. Embodying the mysterious and multifaceted spirit of contemporary electronic music, NSDA has welcomed original productions and remixes from acclaimed artists such as DJ Rush, Answer Code Request, Marcel Dettmann, Exos, Anastasia Kristensen, and Anfisa herself, among many others. Throughout her career, Anfisa has collaborated with globally renowned acts including Swedish House Mafia and Empire of the Sun. A particularly significant milestone came with her collaboration with Moby, remixing his seminal anthem “Go” for Deutsche Grammophon. Their artistic connection continued with the release of “You & Me”, a track that showcased Anfisa not only as producer but also as vocalist, blending driving rhythms, melancholic atmospheres, and dreamlike textures into a compelling and deeply personal work. The release was later remixed by both Deetron and Moby himself. In recent years, Anfisa’s own voice has become an increasingly important element of her artistic expression. Tracks such as “Rosso Profondo”, “Feelin”, “In My Arms”, “Radar”, and “Confusion” (with Unfinished Portraits) highlight her evolving approach to songwriting and production, revealing an artist unafraid to blur the boundaries between club music and personal storytelling. With a sound that is both emotionally resonant and dancefloor-focused, Anfisa Letyago continues to push electronic music into new territory, establishing herself as one of the most compelling and innovative artists of her generation. In 2024, Anfisa Letyago won the “DJ of the Year” award at Billboard’s Women in Music Awards, a significant achievement for an underground artist and a testament to her invaluable recognition in the international music scene.
