Martin Garcia

Martin Garcia has evolved artistically, influenced heavily by the underground scene in England and gained notoriety playing regularly at Clubland in Pacha, Buenos Aires , where he met and shared the booth with the likes of Sasha , Nick Warren, Jimmy Van M and Danny Howells. Martin learned the art of warming up the dancefloor and setting up the local crowd to perfection. He has also backed up this success with his role as a producer, either individually or alongside heavyweights such as Hernan Cattaneo. Some of his remix/edit credits include Paul Oakenfold, Shinichi of Deep Dish and Bedrock head honcho John Digweed . In 2005 Martin recorded his first set as a guest for the popular English radio station Kiss FM, and entered the accredited DJ Mag ranking at number 50. During November and December , he accompanied John Digweed on his tour of South America, where he also headlined in Peru , Brazil, Chile, Uruguay , Paraguay and Colombia to name a few . Martin has also been a frequent guest of many notable events such as Creamfields Buenos Aires, Ultra Buenos Aires, Moonpark, 1Live!, East Fest Punta del Este, Southfest, Winter Music Conference Miami and has also released back to back sets with Hernan Cattaneo and guest spots on Frisky Radio, Editions "Hard to Find " Pacha and several guest mixes for John Digweed's Transitions show. Martin is now focusing his energy on touring South America and has plans in the pipeline for further tours of the globe for the year ahead.
