In the last 18 months, his already prosperous career has been burgeoning at an exciting rate, after his return to production with ‘Vapourspace’ in 2015 following a four-year hiatus. From tracks released on Last Night On Earth to the superb†Scene Delete†compilation on Late Night Tales, world tours and sold out label showcases, Sasha continues to be a global phenomenon; the ultimate timeless artist, still enlisting new fans and appealing to the next generation. Since 2011, he's carved a new way with his increasingly pivotal Last Night On Earth imprint. Currently in its sixth year, LNOE has succeeded in being a key platform for inspiring and fresh talent, including Theo Kottis, Maribou State, Hunter/Game and VONDA7. A major highlight this year was his highly anticipated two-night sellout show REFRACTED: LIVE at London's prestigious Barbican, where almost 4000 tickets were s napped up in 90 minutes. He performed live, accompanied by strings, live vocals and guest musicians, including his Scene Delete album and seminal tracks from his back catalogue re-imagined as an original score. The overwhelming response led to more REFRACTED: LIVE tour dates being confirmed for early 2018 at London’s Roundhouse and Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall. Again, tickets sold out for the show at each venue in mere hours after general release, resulting in a third show, at the Roundhouse, being added due to high demand. With such a phenomenal reception so far, this is surely only the beginning for Sasha’s live performances. REFRACTED:LIVE joins an already impressive run of 2017 achievements for the Welsh producer, including a six-week RESISTANCE residency at Privilege Ibiza as part of a worldwide reunion with John Digweed, debuts on esteemed labels Kompakt and Watergate, his long-awaited return to Coachella, and gracing the cover of DJ Mag USA.
