Simon Vuarambon

Born in Geneva, Switzerland, raised in La Pampa, Argentina, and currently based in Buenos Aires, Simon Vuarambon has established himself as a distinctive voice in contemporary electronic music. His sound moves between depth and energy, combining sophisticated rhythms, emotional textures, and a strong sense of musicality into immersive, patiently evolving journeys. Over the years, Simon has earned the support and respect of some of the genre's most influential figures, including John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, and Lee Burridge, while developing a musical identity that has taken him from the Argentine underground to clubs and festivals around the world. His relationship with music began early, learning guitar at the age of 8. Simon soon became one of the youngest DJs performing in the local scene of La Pampa, and by 16 he had produced his first track, "Inverted Pole," which was played by John Digweed on his Transitions Radio Show. At 18, he moved to Buenos Aires, where he completed a five-year degree in Film Scoring Composition, further developing his musical language through composition and piano. His first international performance came in Tel Aviv alongside Guy Mantzur and Sahar Z at the legendary Cat & The Dog. Since then, Simon has built an increasingly international touring career, performing at renowned clubs and events including The Brooklyn Mirage in New York, Stereo Montreal, Cova Santa in Ibiza, Kaap in Amsterdam, Warung Day Festival in Curitiba, Rainbow Spirit Festival in Melbourne, Evergreen Brick Works in Toronto, Meco in Lisbon, Civic Underground in Sydney, and many more. His discography reflects the same steady evolution. An early milestone came with his remix of Hernan Cattaneo's "Lunar" on Sudbeat, which became one of the label's defining releases on Beatport. Since then, his catalogue has continued to grow through carefully selected releases and collaborations, including working with Lee Burridge and Lost Desert on their first collaborative album. Records such as "Morgana" and "Mature Simplicity" have become enduring pieces in his catalogue, considered by many as future classics. His official remix of St Germain's "So Flute" became a Beatport #1 and introduced his sound to an even broader audience. Continuing this evolution, Simon has expanded his relationship with John Digweed, releasing music on his legendary Bedrock Records, while also becoming part of Guy J's Early Morning label. His latest work also includes an official remix of Miss Kittin's "Life Is My Teacher," followed by "Stamina," released on the prestigious Global Underground as part of the label's 30th anniversary project, and reaching #1 on Beatport's Progressive House chart. With an established catalogue, a growing international presence, and a musical identity shaped over more than a decade, Simon continues to evolve while remaining focused on what lies ahead, guided by the same curiosity that has shaped his music from the beginning.
